Long runs, powder-rich backcountry and slope-side hot pools make the ski-in/ski-out village at Panorama a top choice for a laidback ski vacation. Chill out at this boutique resort in BC’s Rocky Mountain wilderness.

A compact village, mountain-view hot pools and terrain for every kind of skier are just what everyone needs in a ski vacation. If you’re looking to relax, Panorama is the place. Add in beautiful surroundings, and you'll see why the BC Alpine Ski Association named Panorama "British Columbia's Mountain Resort of the Year" in 2011.

As for the skiing itself: beginner and intermediate skiers are in their element here with almost 100 wide runs and long cruisers to explore. Experts can check out the steeps and deeps in Taynton Bowl, a former heli-ski area with a back-country feel and a massive vertical. And Panorama’s Rockstar Terrain Park is one of the biggest and best in the Canadian Rockies.

Are locals keeping this resort a bit of secret? Maybe. But they’re still very happy to share it.
