Big White is one big winter playground and a top choice for family fun. Loads of deep powder plus a cool slope-side village and a great mix of terrain draw powder hounds of all ages.

Big White’s 118 runs range from long cruisers and deep powder bowls to bunny hills and black diamond steeps. So it’s no surprise they won “Best Terrain in the Pacific Northwest” at OnTheSnow.com’s Visitors’ Choice Awards in 2011. And the sixteen lifts (including 6 high-speed lifts) help you explore as much of that terrain as possible.

The vibe here is family-friendly, from special go-slow zones for beginners to Canada’s biggest tube park and all-ages après (think colouring books and magicians meet Okanagan wine).

Big White is also a top spot for glade skiing; check out the mountain’s snow ghosts, where snow-laden trees loom like phantoms. And test your skills on the ice climbing tower in Big White’s Happy Valley Adventure Park.
